Mission and Vision of The Center For Rural Planning

The vision of CRP is to help communities determine their own destinies.

The mission is to assist communities in planning for change through connecting a community's visions with their resources and determining what projects to pursue in creating a sustainable community.

A sustainable community means that a community maintains or enhances its ability to provide livelihoods while protecting or enhancing their resources, be they natural resources or the social capital of the community.
